Do you give too much?

Is there such a thing as giving too much?   No, there isn't. That is who we are.  It is engraved in the very deep corner of our souls.  If you know, you know.

You hear people saying, stop giving so much. You are scaring people away.  If someone is scared away by my profound desire to care, to help them to grow into a stronger version of themselves, well then see ya later Felicia.  I will take my energy back.   Just because we want to be there for you, doesn't mean we are naive, remember that!

We givers are often misunderstood. People see us as over achievers, low self worth and co-dependant.  That is so far from the actual truth.  If you actually just took a moment and notice the words, the emotions, the caring the calmness. Enlightenment would hit you like a bullet and send you reeling. We are the most independent people out there, we don't rely on anyone to fuel us, yet we run on empty all the time. We power you, and in return it powers us.   

Here are the definitions of empath and a giver.  to me they are one of the same.  something like the word "longing" and the term "I miss you"  they both express a desire for something or someone who is absent. 

Empath and giver, the very same thing.

Empath:  Is someone who is highly attuned to the emotions of others. Empaths feel what others are feeling and can absorb that what others feel, empaths give energy.

Intuitive, Compassionate, Sensitive and of course neuters.

Giver:  A person who gives something to someone or something.
