Cool Beans

You ever just meet someone, and you're like dang. They are cool shit. I've been lucky enough to have several in the last little while. 

Just recently one of my favourite customers came in.  I haven't seen him in months. To be honest, he was looking pretty spiffy. If he didn't say hey, I would have walked right by him.  "I owe you a bottle of wine still" he says.   I played dumb, oh you do...(he owes me peaches as well) but I kept quiet.  

I wondered where he ended up. He once was a regular and then he disappeared.  (boy am I good at scaring the boys away) yes I said boys, men would step up to the challenge.(hint hint)

Today was a fun conversation.  He asked, how can I contact you.  I told him about this blog. I don't do social media he says.  Ok grandpa, it's a website.  I laughed and he asked me to write the address down.  If you want you can message me there.  

As he was checking out his purchases, I said if you didn't have a girlfriend I'd give you my number.  He laughed a little and said, funny you say that, she wants to break up with me.  I said tell you what, if I see you again before i move, I'll give you my number. He smiled and said see you soon.  

Not going to hold my breath on the wine, or even seeing him again. It did give me a little extra pep in my step though.
