The Naked Killer

welcome Home

It never fails...clothes are off, water is pouring from the shower. I was  just about to step in.

Dangling...right in front of me.  The biggest spider I have ever seen.  My life flashed before my eyes.  I let out scream, then I realised I'm  nude and no one is coming to save me.  So you grab the longest whatever is closest to you and pray to the gods you don't miss.  I have terrible aim, but managed to kill the little bugger...I'll forever go down in history as the Naked Spider Killer...no one to save me.

Two showers in a row...welcome home was all I could think of. Little buggers missed me...or they wanted a glimpse of my sexy ass.

I'll tell you, the fear of spiders is another thing that is hereditary.  Passed down to me from my mother, and I passed it down to my daughter.

I was in that state where you don't know if it's real or a dream.  I hear a deadly scream my door bursts open and my 22 year old daughter crawls into bed with me. A little critter dropped from the ceiling onto her bed and she refused to go back in her room.

If anyone knows my daughter, she is the toughest, roughest kid I know...but is terrified of spiders.  I asked her what am I supposed to do? Kill it, she said.... ya ok...I just laughed at her.

I did get out of bed, to investigate. I couldn't help but jump scare her a few times. It's just a little pay back. I shook off her blanket and said all good.

Mommy to the rescue.  The things we do for the people we love.   We never did find the little monster....we both went back to bed.

I got up in the middle of the night to get something to drink, and there crawling on my bedroom door, was this creepy little white spider...only thing I had close to me was a bottle of perfume.  I used the corner of my beloved Burberry to mush that little bugger.  No way were you going to join me in bed.  I cleaned off the bottle and went and made some tea.  Feeling all relaxed I drifted off to sleep.  Knowing tomorrow is a new day with new critters.

"When my time comes around around, lay me gently in the cold dark earth"
